TESS will be in Geneva during the WTO Public Forum and Geneva Trade Week from 15 to 18 September, hosting, supporting, and participating in a range of events on trade and sustainability.

If you are attending the Public Forum or Geneva Trade Week and have a shared interest in issues at the nexus of trade, environment, and sustainable development, we would welcome the opportunity to be in touch. Please contact us if you would like to join or find out more about our events or schedule a meeting during the week.
On 15 September, TESS will collaborate with Geneva Trade Week on Sustainability Day, hosted by the Geneva Trade Platform at the Geneva Graduate Institute. We look forward to leading the high-level opening plenary, where experts and officials will discuss the latest developments on trade and sustainability and how we can do better. Later on Sustainability Day, we will lead an event on sustainable agriculture and trade. We hope you can join us for these public events, each of which will also be live cast and recorded for colleagues not in Geneva. In the evening, we will have the pleasure of welcoming trade and sustainability colleagues present in Geneva to a reception.
On 16 September, we will be organizing with partners a series of expert roundtables at the Geneva Graduate Institute as part of a full day of events hosted by TESS on the margins of the WTO Public Forum. Topics for discussion will include trade-related climate measures, sectoral perspectives on net zero pathways and implications for developing countries, circular economy, industrial subsidies, and the water footprints of traded food, textiles, and minerals.
On 17 September, we will host our annual stakeholder breakfast roundtable on the sidelines of the WTO Public Forum, bringing together invited climate and trade experts from around the world. The following morning we will host a further breakfast roundtable where invited experts will review recent policy research and thinking on strategies for bolstering effective international cooperation on sustainable agriculture and trade.
On 18 September, TESS and WWF International are co-organizing a WTO Public Forum session in the afternoon on trade agendas for nature, climate, and sustainable development, where we will also launch a new jointly published discussion paper to spur strategic dialogue. We invite you to join us at this session.
Should you wish to meet or learn more about our activities during the WTO Public Forum and Geneva Trade Week, we invite you to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing many partners and colleagues at our events.
