In the context of London Climate Action Week (LCAW), the Forum on Trade, Environment, & the SDGs (TESS), the Remaking Trade Project, and E3G are co-hosting a roundtable on the state of play on climate, trade, and sustainable development.
Roundtable Objectives
This lunchtime roundtable aims to bring together 25-30 experts on trade, climate, and sustainable development issues to debrief on and discuss the state of play in various international initiatives and processes on climate, trade, and sustainable development, and strategic priorities, including in relation to:
a) the first Mutirão Climate and Trade Dialogue in Bonn in June and other emerging trade-climate initiatives
b) trade & climate priorities and opportunities in the climate regime on the road to COP31 and beyond.
c) trade & climate priorities and opportunities in the trade regime.
The discussion will be informal and off-the-record.
