Olivia Carolina Bonner

Policy Advisor - Plastics Treaty and MEAs Consultant

Olivia Carolina Bonner is an international environmental and human rights lawyer with experience in international law, multilateral engagement, and policymaking. She holds a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, a Masters in Sustainability from Wake Forest University Graduate School, and an LL.M. in international environmental law, specializing on the cross-cutting field of international environmental law and human rights, from Pace University - Elisabeth Haub School of Law. Olivia brings prior experience serving as an Associate Legal Officer at UNEP Law Division, specializing in the development and implementation of international environmental law, and representing the Minderoo Foundation as a policy associate in the plastics treaty negotiations. Olivia has experience in policymaking at the international, regional, and national/state levels, and previously taught a policy lab on environmental justice and the energy transition at Stanford Law School. She is based in Amsterdam.
