Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement

Andrew Aziz is the Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at the Forum on Trade, Environment and the SDGs (TESS). He leads the organisation's communications strategy, oversees outreach and stakeholder engagement, and guides the development of digital content and strategic messaging.

Andrew brings more than 18 years of experience in senior communications roles across think tanks, UN agencies, academic institutions, and NGOs in Canada, Switzerland, and Kenya. A skilled writer, editor, and strategic communicator, he has particular expertise in trade, development, sustainability, and climate change.

He has led communications teams at organizations including IISD, ICTSD, UNEP, and the Pembina Institute, and has worked closely with key trade-related institutions such as the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF), UNCTAD, CUTS International, and WTI Advisors. Before joining TESS, Andrew served as Senior Communications Manager for IISD’s Economic Law and Policy Program, where he led a multinational communications team and advised IISD’s trade team.
