TESS hosted an informal exchange among developing country delegates on trade, environment, and sustainable development in the WTO context with a focus on the work of the Committee on Trade and Environment and the road to the Thirteenth Ministerial Conference (MC13).
The informal meeting provided participants an opportunity to engage with H.E. José Valencia, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the WTO, who is also the Chairperson of the WTO Committee on Trade and Environment.
Participants shared perspectives on developing country priorities in discussions on trade, environment and sustainable development in the Committee on Trade and Environment and in the run-up to MC13.
