The roundtable aims to spur an active "big picture" conversation on what kind of international cooperation on trade is needed to support the achievement of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the climate agenda, and broader sustainable development goals, and what it will take to advance towards that vision.
The event is envisaged as an opportunity for a brainstorm among a group of 20–30 fellow thought leaders from key stakeholder groups (NGOs and business), research centres, international organizations, and governments keen to drive collaboration on the trade-sustainability nexus, including those with extensive policy experience and those with experience in supply chain transformation.
