Trade, environment, & the SDGs at MC12: Informal stakeholder exchange on the road forward

The Forum on Trade, Environment and the SDGs (TESS) hosted a breakfast meeting on “Trade, Environment & the SDGs at MC12: Informal stakeholder exchange on the road forward” on Wednesday, 29 September 2021, 08.00-09.30 CEST at the Graduate Institute, Geneva.

The meeting was hosted in the context of Geneva Trade Platform’s Geneva Trade Week 2021 and to coincide with the WTO Public Forum 2021.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity to share updates on plans and priorities for MC12, both in regard to the various Member-led initiatives and stakeholder activities in the lead up to the Ministerial Conference. .

The meeting was attended by 24 participants from delegations of WTO Member countries, Geneva-based representatives of stakeholder organisations and IGOs as well as a number of experts from delegations active on these topics, along experts who were in Geneva during the WTO Public Forum 2021.
